After teaching for seven years in the Brighton Park neighborhood, Kyle Schulte then transitioned into school leadership and has been the assistant principal at James Monroe Elementary the past four years. Kyle has updated the Second Step curriculum, secured Calm Classrooms curriculum, added daily Together Time minutes, and focused on a restorative approach to discipline. Kyle holds a Master of Educational Leadership degree from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University. He enjoys jogging, reading, traveling (12 countries and counting!), and exploring his favorite city in the world, Chicago.
